Parr Claims Shootout Round #3 at Travelers Rest

Parr and team headed to Travelers Rest Speedway Friday night to battle for $1,000. This would be round #3 for the CRUSA Thunder Bomber Shootout Series. Parr was looking to shake off some early season struggles and have a good run.

Grant would increase his chances of a solid run by qualifying on the pole. After the top 4 redraw, the 48 was fortunate to remain the pole man. Parr would get a good start and lead the first few laps before the caution flag would fly.

The caution flag was seen numerous times during the race, and this forced Grant to hold off a hard charging #12 car of Blake Bentley on many restarts. The pair would battle it out side-by-side many laps in the event.

At the end, the 48 was able to pick up the first victory of 2021. This would also mark Grant's second career Thunder Bomber Shootout Series win. The team is hoping this win will lead to more success in the near future.
