Grant and the team went to Travelers Rest Speedway for round 2 of the Thunder Bomber Shootout Series. The team worked on a mechanical issue up until qualifying, but they would clear up all the issues just in time.
Grant would go on to set fast time in qualifying which put him on the pole for the 20 lap main event. Grant led flag to flag in the 20 lap race and claimed the team's first win of the season. This was also Grant's first ever win at Travelers Rest Speedway!
