Parr and the 48 team took the Thunder Bomber to Travelers Rest Speedway Saturday night.
Grant started off the night by qualifying P5 for the 15 lap main event. Parr was on the move when the green flag dropped in the feature event.
The 48 car went from P5 to P2 in a handful of laps. As Grant was battling for P1, a mechanical issue would force the 48 to pull off ending the team’s chances of a win.
The 48 car set the fastest time in the main event, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be on this night.
