Parr and team traveled to Travelers Rest Speedway in the Thunder Bomber to battle for $1500. After fighting mechanical issues, Grant would end up P8. Saturday morning, the team made repairs and prepared the car to race at Harris Speedway on Saturday night. On lap 1 of the heat race. Grant was turned and slammed driver’s side first into the turn 3 wall sustaining enough damage to end his night. Grant was okay and walked away thanks to a safely built car from Keith Pearson Racing. Definitely a tough weekend for the team, but Parr will look to rebound this weekend at Cherokee Speedway’s Street Stock Showdown.
