Labor Day Weekend Recap

The #48 Thunder Bomber headed to Travelers Rest Saturday night to battle for a $1000 to win payday. Grant would qualify 5th and start 3rd after the pole man did not start the main event. Grant was stuck on the bottom of a one groove race track, and ended up 5th when the checkered flag waved. The #48 car showed some speed, even in traffic, and was able to run the fastest lap.

On Sunday, Parr and team traveled to Cherokee Speedway to race with the Thunder Bomber Shootout Series. Grant qualified on the pole and was close to breaking the track record. The #48 car was on rails and led the first seven laps, before an engine issue forced Grant to pull in.

Hopefully the team has all the tough luck out of the way and can get back to victory lane this weekend.
