Parr and the 48 team traveled to Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC to compete with the CRUSA Thunder Bomber. Grant started on the pole in the heat race and would go on to win, but nearly ran hot due to mud on the grille.
The team would make changes to keep air coming to the radiator for the main event. Grant decided to start on the outside pole and this decision would pay off. The 48 car cleared for the lead into turn 1, and would go on to lead every lap of the 12 lap feature. This was Grant’s first ever win at Carolina Speedway.
The 48 team is now preparing for the final race of 2020 at Cherokee Speedway on November 22, 2020.
