Parr and team took the 48 Thunder Bomber to Cherokee Speedway Sunday with only one goal. The day started out strong as Grant put the car on the pole in HLQ.
The 48 would start on the inside of the front row beside the 66 of Preston Dimsdale for the main event. Early in the race, Dimsdale passed Grant twice, but both times the caution would come out and put the 48 back in the lead.
Finally, the tires got enough heat in them, and Grant was able to pull away and eventually go on to win the race. To finally win at Cherokee Speedway in 2020, was a huge relief for the team after coming so close multiple times this season.
Parr and team will travel to East Lincoln Speedway next weekend for the final event of the 2020 campaign.
